– There are many adverse effects of Covid-19 pandemic on agriculture and rural livelihoods.
– For one, the spread of the disease can contaminate crops with pathogenic microorganisms, leading to crop loss.
– Infected animals can also cause foodborne diseases that can affect humans.
– The economic situation of farmers and rural communities is also likely to be affected as a result of the pandemic.
